About Erickson Electric
My brother and I grew up around electrical work. Our father taught us the trade—not just the technical side, but the philosophy behind it. We watched him show up early, listen to what people actually needed, and explain things clearly instead of talking down to clients. When we decided to start Erickson Electric in 2020, it wasn't because we wanted to build something big. We started because we wanted to work the way we'd been taught, on our own terms, with people we could trust.
Those first projects taught us quickly what mattered. A homeowner who was nervous about rewiring their kitchen. A small business owner who needed help but couldn't afford to shut down for weeks. A family trying to add capacity for an addition. We realized fast that people don't just need electricity—they need someone to explain what's happening, admit when something is complicated, and follow through without shortcuts. That's become our DNA.
'Our father taught us that this work is about the people who depend on it. Everything else follows from that.'
— Erickson Electric
Hard work sounds like a cliché until you see what it actually prevents. We show up on time because we know a missed appointment costs someone their day. We don't cut corners on safety because we've heard the stories. We finish what we start because a half-done job creates liability and stress for our clients. That's not virtue—it's respect for the people who hire us.
Communication isn't about being friendly—it's about clarity. We explain what we're doing, why it matters, and what it costs before we start. We answer calls and texts because being in the dark is worse than waiting. We send photos so you can see progress. We tell you if a problem is bigger than you thought, and we talk through options instead of assuming we know what you want.
Safety first isn't a motto for us—it's a constraint we build around. We follow code because code exists for a reason. We wear our gear. We test twice. We say no to jobs that don't make sense or timelines that aren't realistic. That boundary protects you and us. Giving back to the community means hiring locally when we can, supporting local businesses, and treating neighbors like they matter because they do.
When you call Erickson Electric, you're not reaching a call center. You're reaching someone who can actually answer your question and schedule your work. When we show up, we bring what we need, we work clean, and we respect your space. We'll walk you through what we're doing and answer questions without rushing you. If something doesn't match the original estimate, we talk about it before we proceed. When we're done, the work is done—no unfinished details, no surprises on the invoice.
This is what it feels like to work with a family business that's still learning. We care about the work because it's connected to our name, our reputation, and our community. If you need an electrician who shows up, communicates clearly, and does the job right, reach out. We'd like to help.
